• We will learn how to describe the structure of an atom

• We will learn the difference between atomic number, atomic mass and average atomic mass

• We will learn how to extract information from the periodic table related to atomic structure and atomic mass and use it to draw an aotmic model for an element.

Closing Task:

You can draw a simple atomic model of an atom for a specific element.

You can use the periodic table to identify an element based on atomic structure.
